Promising Titles I Just Have To Read

So many good books and so little time . . .
There are so many new and intriguing books that are being released everyday and I'm just reading like crazy because I'm kind of a book freak! I can't resist!
I've read so many great books for the year so far and I'm looking forward to quite a few that haven't been released yet plus the released ones that I haven't got to yet. Like I said, so little time . . .
I just wanted to share the names of some titles that I found promising just from reading the blurbs. I plan on getting them to read as soon as I can manage it. I just wanted to share them with you so you can decide if you want to check them out as well.

REVIEW: Down To You by M. Leighton

This novel was a good one! The first I think I've read by this author and definitely won't be the last. It was a good read, fun, fast paced and I read it in one sitting! I gave it 4/5 stars. Though it was a good read, I have to say the names Cash and Nash didn't really endear me.
So what happens from the outset is that Olivia Townsend meets Cash Davenport at a bachelorette party where she thought he was the stripper but turned out to be the owner of the club they were inhabiting that night. How embarrassing right? Because she totally started to strip him at the coaxing of the other women only to realize her mistake after she'd divested him f his shirt and ogled his bod.
The next morning, she wakes up to see Cash with her cousin and roommate Marissa only to find out that he's not Cash from the club but Nash Davenport, Cash's twin-brother who's an attorney.
Olivia has moments with both brothers at the start and she realizes that she's very attracted and aware of both Cash and Nash. Nash is the type of guy that she wants to be with. The perfect kind of guy but he's taken, by her cousin. Cash is exactly the type of guy that she should avoid because bad-boy types are a bad choice for that good girl.
The sex scenes were hot but I have to admit, it was a bit careless of Olivia not to know which brother she slept with the first time. I mean yeah, they're twins but she didn't want to know which one it was. But I have to admit, that scene was the best one for me. How he came in in the dark of the night into her bedroom. Hot!
Though the ending could have been a surprise when Olivia found out what the brothers were hiding, I started to actually figure something like that was going on. The epilogue left no uncertainty that there will be a second novel and I look forward to reading it. Recommended read if you like hot twins with a possessive streak! Check it out!

REVIEW: Losing It by Cora Carmack

This read was a welcome delight from the more intense novels I've read lately. It was a recommended read from Maryse's Book Blog and since she's never recommended a bad book, I totally had to check this one out and I'm so glad I did because it was totally worth it!

So This novel is basically about a college student who feels that twenty-two and still being a virgin is kind of a bad thing. So her friend Kelsey takes her out to look for someone to rectify this 'problem.' She meets a very sexy British man at a bar who's accent makes her melt and she takes him back to her place. But right when things start to get at their steamiest, Bliss in a fit of anxiety and fear, makes up the lamest excuse to not 'do-the-deed.' She leaves the naked hottie in her apartment only to find him in her theater class on Monday, as her new professor.

“It wasn’t until I’d walked halfway across the parking lot that I realized: 1. I wasn’t wearing shoes.
A. Or a shirt.
2. I didn’t bring my keys
A. Or anything really.
3. I’d just left a complete stranger in my apartment.
A. Naked.
Whoever said one-night stands were supposed to be simple with no strings attached had clearly never met the disaster that was me.”
― Cora Carmack, Losing It

This novel was fun, fast-paced and had a sexy accented male, as the lead, whose accent is sure to make you melt every time he calls you 'love.' There was a forbidden love thing going on with him being her professor and all. He really pushed the line and the fact that they could've gotten caught in most encounters was kinda exciting and sexy! There was also a semblance of a possible love-triangle that really didn't happen though the 'other guy' was really very sweet. The development of the relationship between Bliss and Garrick was well formulated and believable. The characters very likable.  All in all, it was  a really great read and I would definitely recommend it as well. Oh and there's just something about the cover that's sexy. An understated kinda sexy.
I give it 4/5 happy stars!

Happy Reading Everyone!
